Welcome to Southern Rays Homestead.  We are Catherine and Rick. We created this blog to keep family and friends updated on our progress and our adventure.  We are sharing our journey getting back to the simplistic life.  Now don't misunderstand that.  We said simplistic not simple.  We also said journey not destination.  Homesteading is hard work, but ever so rewarding.  The journey is where all the living happens.
