Welcome back to SRH. The story of our lives lately is still clean up from the ice storm. It is taking much longer than we wanted, but we are doing it by hand and with chainsaws, small wood chipper, and hand tools. We only have to focus on the drive way and the sides. Rick picked out logs to make garden beds to line the driveway. Can't be lined with trees anymore, so I will line them with sunflowers. It is going to be really pretty. Moving forward...
Hello All, Welcome back to the homestead. We have been busy. When we last updated you all, we had a weekend of cold temps. We spent the time in the cabin. We had laundry to fold and take care of, floors to sweep, composting buckets to dump, and dishes that needed done. Monday rolled around, and we started working on the trees around the cabin. Hello friends and family, Here we go again with our latest update. With winter arriving in Tennessee, things have surely slowed down as far as projects. The weather has definitely been chillier and then we get bouts of rain. The first week after we last updated, we did not get a whole lot done. Rick was extremely tired most of the week.
