Birthday Week and special announcement

Hello framily. This is a quick and special blog. This week is mine and Rick's birthdays. His is the 19th and mine the 21st. We are going to be working all week, but we will be celebrating too. Our gift to ourselves is to purchase the expansion pack for the video game we love. It is our thing. We plan on going to dinner and have cake on the 20th.

We were talking about how you can participate with our birthday and how we can bring you closer on our journey. We decided to have a little contest. Now don't get too excited. We are not giving away cars or money. We will literally make you part of the homestead. We have designated areas designed up...herb garden, regular garden, the barn and so on. We plan on naming each one of those areas. How would you like to have a area named after you? I thought it would be a cute idea to make you a part of our journey. The first recipient is our grand daughter. The herb garden will be named after her. We will create a sign in her honor. Since we have several places not developed yet, we will have future contests.

We are currently at 26 subscribers. We would like to be at 100 by the end of the month. Our highest read blog is at 70. We would like to get one of our blogs at 100 by the end of the month. So to enter, make sure you have read all the blogs, subscribe and share with at least person. That is all we ask. If the markers are met, we will put all the subscribers into a hat and draw for the winner. It costs you nothing, and you get a chance to be a real part of our homestead. We can't track shares, so that is on an honor system. Winner will be drawn in beginning of December.
