We wanted to provide an update on the recent tree work. The crew completed the job yesterday, and their work was truly exceptional, exceeding our expectations. They filled holes, moved stumps to our brush piles, and even leveled the land and our driveway. It was an amazing job, as you'll see in the pictures below.
We forgot to mention in our last post. We've also had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful neighbors. Michelle and Mariane introduced themselves and always offer a friendly wave. They even let us know when they were heading into town, offering to pick up anything we might need. Most incredibly, they brought us hot soup on our last night, freeing us up to prepare for our journey home. Michelle even texted me today, offering some bulbs for when we return. They also took some fantastic pictures of all the work the crew did on our property.
We also had a chance to visit with Chad, a truly great guy. He messaged us today to warn us about the terrible winds and hail expected tonight. He's kindly offered to check on the property tomorrow and provide an update.
We feel truly blessed by the neighbors we've met, even before fully moving in, and we've been enjoying connecting with them online.
